An op-ed piece in the New York Times a few months ago took issue with Bill Frist’s religious war.
The author notes that Frist and his supporters claim: “[…] Democrats who oppose a tiny handful of President George W. Bush’s judicial nominations are conducting an assault ‘against people of faith.’ By that, Frist and his allies do not mean people of all faiths, only those of their faith.”
